For sailors who desire a powerful, compact and sensitive steering system, Edson’s complete line of Rack and Pinion Steerers with complete rudder feedback are ruggedly constructed of bronze alloys with 1” stainless wheel shafts and hardware. 

 Edson’s Rack and Pinion Steerers are available in three configurations: 

• Transom hung rudder steerers

• Two types of inboard rudder steerers

These steerers mount 90˚ to the rudder axis.  Ideal for cockpit layouts that can allow for a steerer cover to double as a helm seat.
