Edson's aluminum hex head pedestal bolts come in 3", 4", and 6" lengths and are specifically designed to fit of Edson's pedestals that were built after February 1987 (excluding the Vision II pedestal that has the bolts built into the pedestal itself). These special aluminum bolts and nuts are designed to eliminate galvanic corrosion between the fasteners, pedestal, and idler - no washers required or recommended. If you have a pedestal that was built prior to February 1987, you will need stainless flat head bolts which are available at better hardware stores or quality marine retailers.
