Our Character Wheels are patterned after the traditional heavy cast iron wheels of yesteryear, only ours have been updated with modern materials and construction methods. Cast in marine-grade 356-T6 Aluminum and powder-coated, this up-to-date version is much lighter than the original, yet retains its strength and beauty for years to come. To ensure a precise fit to the wheel shaft, a machined stainless insert is pressed into the hub.
