From the earliest stages of the design process, Edson can provide early concepts for Custom Steering arrangements, including Drawings and 3D renderings that can be assimilated into the designers. Involving Edson early in the overall design process allows for the most options and top efficiency of the critical systems.
After an engineering analysis and preliminary steering design, we will provide a customized Steering System Proposal complete with system drawings, steering load calculations and 3D renderings showing the proposed system installed in your boat (if 3D drawings have been provided). A system quote will also be provided at this point to give you an idea of the cost of the complete system. The designer, builder and owner can then review this packet and make any necessary changes, which will be incorporated into a revised system specification.
