Custom yacht steering system design involves an interplay between owner, naval architect, builder, and Edson to identify and address the yacht's specific needs based on design characteristics, space needs, aesthetic requirements, and use intent.
Edson's primary point of contact in the initial phases will be the naval architect, with whom we will evaluate the yacht parameters and owner requirements that result in the basic system design. From there, we work with the architect and builder to coordinate the system's components into the yacht's 3D model to avoid conflicts with other yacht elements and fit the system to the boat.
Throughout the project, Edson works with the whole project team to ensure communication through the progressing build and help the yacht through successful commissioning, use, and maintenance.
