Edson's Wheel Nut and Quick Release Nut have a thread of 1"-14 and can use the inserts listed below to adapt to different helms. These are replacement inserts that typically come supplied with a wheel nut.
Insert options for Edson Wheel Nuts:
- 5/8"-18 Shaft Threads. Fits on Sea Star helms typically found with Yamaha engines. Fits on Edson tapered shafts (produced starting in 2000)
- 12mm Shaft Threads. Fits on Uflex helms typically found with Mercury engines.
- 3/4"-10 Shaft Threads. Fits Edson Pedestal Shafts built prior to 1979
- 1/2"-20 Shaft Threads.
- 5/8"-11 Shaft Threads.
